Resources

Whether you make an appointment with us or not (or live out of our treatment areas) here are some resources to help on your journey.

(PS: We don’t receive any kickbacks from any of these partners. These are simply resources we have found helpful in practice and represent our philosophy on the topic areas).

When a child experiences larger-than-life tantrums and/or meltdowns, it’s not a sign that you have a bad kid. Instead, it means something in the environment is becoming overwhelming to them. Any mental health provider you work with (whether it’s us or someone else) should try to understand what’s driving that overwhelm. By getting curious about what’s going on, instead of trying to “control” or “fix” the behavior, we can often gain insights we wouldn’t if we just focus on making it stop right away (even though any parent of a toddler can empathize with how tempting it is to do anything to make it stop. Ice cream anyone)?

Friendly reminder: We do not receive kickbacks from any of the resources listed here. However, they are vetted and curated by our team, and do align with the opinions and advice we give, or studies we reference, during our patient visits.
